Jen dropped the kids off at school today, pretty much like every other school-day. Except today one of the other mothers came up to Jen and said, "A little bird told me it was your birthday today..." Surprised and confused Jen began to open her mouth, to explain that her birthday was not until January...
Just then Katie jumps out from around a corner and yells, "APRIL FOOLS!!!"
Apparently Katie is improvising. She told the other mother that Jen's birthday was today. We weren't even sure that Katie understood the concept of April Fools Day. Not only does she get it, she is already planning pranks! Look out friends and family...

I thought about calling you on April Fools and telling you I was a princess but I didn't want to hurt your feelings when you found out it was only Nana....WAIT till next year!

OMG - that is brilliant -- but I can teach her some even better ones...
I wonder if she is getting some special coaching from Auntie Nikki? Maybe Nik can pass the torch - she definitely sounds worthy!! We will have to watch out for miss Katie in the year's to come!
